Entertainment industry and copyright protection

Entertainment industry and copyright protection because somebody borrowing your ideas could be disastrous.

Did you know that Disney has always been a company fighting for stricter copyright laws? With their help a creative work is now protected up to 70 years after death of the artist without any efforts. You are not allowed to show people my pixel art on your own website/make a print and give it to someone out of your close family/create anything that resembles my work until the year 2170 (I plan to die in 2100).

Makes sense right?

Oh, all the Disney stories were obviously not copied from other fairy tale writers… /sarcasm

I was planning to write something clever but I am too lazy, so instead ill show you these awesome original movie posters :)

So, decide for yourself, what do you think of copyrighting creative work beyond the artists death?
